Capital City Pre School

Less Waste carried out a Waste Audit and set up a recycling system for the Pre School in May 2008. The Pre School has been able to reduce its waste by approximately two-thirds, and is now recycling all paper, cardboard, bottles and cans as well as composting its food scraps in a Bokashi bin.

Te Papa

Less Waste completed a Waste Audit for Te Papa in June 2008. Although Te Papa already recycles a lot of material, the results of the audit highlighted several areas for improvement with the potential to cut waste to landfill by at least 50%. A Waste Minimisation Plan has been produced and Less Waste is helping Te Papa implement several waste minimisation initiatives.

James Cook Hotel

Less Waste completed a Waste Audit for the James Cook Hotel in September 2008.
